Your First Sunday
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT
We offer both contemporary and traditional worship services on Sunday mornings. Regardless of the service type, we worship God by reading the Bible, singing together, praying, and listening to a sermon from Scripture. On the first Sunday of the month, we also share Holy Communion together. Everyone is welcome to receive Communion, regardless of age or church background. You do not have to be a member of the church to receive Communion.
Our Traditional service features the Chancel Choir and church hymns. Our Contemporary service features live contemporary selections. No matter which service you choose, you may dress casual or you may ‘dress up.’ Wear what feels best. You are our guest; we want you to feel welcome and comfortable.
We offer refreshments every Sunday morning in our M.A.C. foyer. We hope you’ll grab a cup of coffee and a bite to eat, and visit with us a while. We want to get to know you!
Sunday School:
At Bellville Methodist, we believe that involvement in a small group is critical to our spiritual growth. We provide meaningful and practical Sunday school for all ages — from children to senior adults, which meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. We also offer a variety of student and adult Bible studies that meet throughout the week.
Nursery Care
Secure and loving nursery care is available all morning for children through age 3. Our Greeters and Ushers can direct you to its location through the hallway from the Welcome Center outside the sanctuary.
